Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at F.A.M.E.

The volunteer program at F.A.M.E. compliments our support services and provides volunteers with an opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and gain knowledge about mental health. All volunteer opportunities support our mission statement.

At F.A.M.E., we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, skills, and interests. Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities. If you have a skill that you would like to share with us, we would be happy to discuss other opportunities. For further information about volunteering, please contact Nicole Lucas at 416-207-5032, ext. 28 or nicolel@fameforfamilies.com

Youth Volunteer Program

F.A.M.E. encourages youth to become involved in our organization and currently has a youth volunteer program in Peel Region. Youth are invited to an information session which includes an educational component about mental health issues and resources, as well as general information about F.A.M.E. programs and services. Youth gain community service hours at the session and various volunteer opportunities are discussed. For more information about our youth information sessions, please contact Nicole Lucas.
