Deb Quiggin will speak about the value of adding people with lived experience, or “peers,” to the mental health and addictions community model of care. Deb will also speak about the history of mental health and addiction treatment options in Canada and how the more recent addition of Peer Support and Peer Leadership has enriched coordinated care as well as raised the success rate of people in recovery.
