Brief History
Since 1989
F.A.M.E. has been supporting families for nearly twenty years;
founded in 1989 by a group of families in Etobicoke, Ontario through
the Canadian Mental Health Association, and the Framework for Support
pilot project at the Etobicoke Mental Health Services Agency.
Partners
Since then, F.A.M.E. receives core funding from the Ministry of Health, contract funding from the United Way of Peel Region, the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Region of Peel and financial support by community agencies, groups and clubs, and many other individual donations.

The F.A.M.E. head office is currently located in Etobicoke. We also offer services across the Greater Toronto Area and Peel Region plus satellite offices in Scarborough, Brampton, and Mississauga.
